Child/ Sex Trafficking Prevention And Rehabilitation

One of YouthFORCE’s objectives is to put an end to all forms of modern-day slavery including child and sex trafficking, which is a crime against humanity.

Trafficking in persons is the world’s 3^rd largest and lucrative illegal business and sex trafficking is the most profitable form of trafficking in persons.

Women, especially adolescents and young women are the most targeted for this illicit business. Child trafficking for labor, domestic servitude, sexual exploitation and other purposes is also categorized as one of the most profitable forms of trafficking.

It’s for this reason that we owe it to victims and our target group at risk to curb the prevalence using prevention and rehabilitation-based approach.

We sensitize communities on all forms of trafficking and particularly child and sex trafficking and their trends and build communities ‘capacities to respond to trafficking in persons.

We assist in providing psychological, medical, legal and economic rehabilitation.
